  Photo Credit:  Taste of Country The song I chose for our second musical analysis is Does He Love You   by Reba McEntire Featuring Dolly Parton.  Does He Love You  was originally released in August of 1993 and featured Linda Davis. The song was written by Billy Stritch and Sandy Knox. The song is about a man who is having an affair and the two women air out their insecurities. They ask questions such as "does he love you like he loves me?" and "does he think of you when he's holding me?"  McEntire asked Parton to participate in the duet for her 2021 album release, Revived Remixed Revisited. In an interview posted on People.com, McEntire mentioned that she had to fax Parton and then have her people fax Parton's people and have them talk and work out the details. The song " Broken" by Seether is a song that I have loved since it first came out in 2002. At first thoughts, the instrumental aspect of the song is what draws me in. The distinct strums from the guitar along with the emotions that you can hear from the artist singing the lyrics are in a way, soothing to me. While I plan to link both versions, I prefer the acoustic simply because I feel like I can gather a better sense of the emotions throughout the song.  My name is Lianna Johnson. I am 34 years old and a single mom to three kids. There's my 16yr old, Jason, my 11yr old, Kyliegh, and my youngest, David, will be 8 on Monday. We live in Fairbanks, Alaska which is where I was born and raised. My oldest and I actually had the same pediatrician when we were both babies. For fun, I enjoy both cooking and baking. I love taking my kids and going out on a clear night to chase the northern lights. In the early fall, we love to go out blueberry picking.
